Sweet n’ Salty Chocolate Drops
The next time you hunger for a filling yet nutritious treat, swap processed snacks for these trail mix bites, which wrap natural dried fruit, seeds, and nuts in a delicious dark chocolate base. Protein and healthy fats will help sustain you on long, active days, while a satisfying crunch and pop of sweetness will have you checking your watch in anticipation of snack time.
Ingredients:
- 1½ tbsp. almonds
- ¾ tbsp. sunflower seeds
- 3 tbsp. dried cranberries
- 2 oz. dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

Combine the almonds, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave for 20–30 seconds. Stir, then microwave again in 15 second intervals as needed.

Lay out a piece of wax paper on a baking sheet. Using a spoon, pour the chocolate in quarter-sized circles onto it.

Pressing lightly, lay a spoonful of the fruit-and-nut mixture onto each of the chocolate drops.

Allow the drops to harden, about 45–60 minutes. For quicker results, you can put them in the refrigerator.
