Figs Stuffed with Goat Cheese and Almonds

Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 oz. goat cheese
- 9 mission figs, cut in half
- 36 almond slices, to garnish
- 1 tbsp. plus 1½ tsp. honey (¼ tsp. for each fig)

Instructions:
- In a food processor fitted with the metal blade, process the butter and goat cheese together until they are smooth. Press your thumb into each halved fig, making a slight indention.
- Place the goat cheese mixture into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, and pipe the mixture equally into the indentations in the fig halves. Pipe any excess filling onto the top of each fig, garnish each fig with 2 almond slices, drizzle them with the honey, and serve.
