Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Honey Miso Glaze and Cilantro
Brussels sprouts are one of the most well-studied vegetables in relation to cancer prevention. Ingredients:
- 1½ lb. brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and halved
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp. fish sauce
- 2 tbsp. white miso paste
- 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

- Preheat oven to 425°F. Place the brussels sprouts in a large bowl and toss with the sesame oil to coat. Spread the brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut sides down, and roast for 15 to 20 minutes until browned and tender.
- While the sprouts are roasting, add the remaining ingredients, except for the cilantro, to the same large mixing bowl and whisk until well combined. When the sprouts are done, remove from the oven and place on a serving plate. Drizzle with the glaze and garnish with cilantro. Serve warm.
